This Project is under NDA, thus the work is only losely described here based on public knowledge.
The main work on this project was an advanced capture tracking system of Live-Action Actors integrated in the Unity 3D Game Environments in real-time.
I created the system with a lot of feedback from the Cinematics and Tech Team and with help and support by the amazing Andrew Thorpe (Programming Lead) and fantastic Max Taylor (Principal Technical Artist). This custom Virtual Production system is integrated into Int./Night's unique Shotframe Pipeline and the Cinematic Task Tracking Workflow in Shotgrid.
The system is also able to give real-time compositing feedback on set, and handles Tracking Data directly from its sources. The entire package had a detailed internal devlog and regularly updated guides maintained by myself for easy accessibility to the entire Shooting Team.
The system supports the local in-house tracking setup as well as the studio tracking setup on-site.
